Yes, clearly a second vent hose. Just like the vent on the left, it does not connect to anything. Just an open hose to vent the bowl to atmospheric pressure. The 2 hoses interconnect internally. Even the later Mikuni carbs with 1 vent hose interconnect to two passages internally. The variations on something as simple as a bowl vent is amazing.1) Install an air fuel mixture screw adjuster and fine tune carb. 2) Re-check valve clearance. 3) I never changed the coolant liquid. I read somewhere this needn't to be changed and there are other peeps changing it frequently. I'll change it anyway as it's cheap and won't hurt. 4) Install PC fans with a manual switch.I have tried FCR41s and a TM/ HSR42mm in the past. None is as good as my FCR40. The 42 only ever went as fast as the 40. After I installed the MRD PRO exhaust, the 42 fell on its face. It could not match the top end power of the 40.
