Aug 13, 2021 · Off the top of my head, the amount of slaves you have, the move speed of an individual slave, low mood of the slave, proximity to weapons, and proximity to the edge of the map all increase the chance of a slave rebellion. Suppression decreases it. For the record, I currently have 11 slaves, and the rebellion interval is roughly every 10 years.

The downside is, they sometimes try and rebel or run away, but this is managable. Slaves get a large mood buff (meager slave expectations). If their mood breaks, you beat them up and drag them back to their beds without any consequences. If your ideo has high level of bigotry, and then enslave from other ideos, your pawns will instantly hate the slaves, so they get a big mood buff when the slaves dies.
